The Horowhenua Astronomical Society Inc. (HoroAstronomy) was originally formed in 1990, as the Foxton Beach Astronomical Society (FBAS), and became an Incorporated society on 26th April 1993. The name was changed in 2012 to reflect its wider membership base and outreach activities.. It is located in Foxton Beach, Horowhenua, Lower North Island, New Zealand. Our members come from all over the Horowhenua and Manawatu.They range in experience from beginner to advanced.
The Horowhenua Astronomical Society offers:-
