Barnabas House Ministries

Barnabas House Ministries

101 Darwin Rd, Gisborne ,
Barnabas House Ministries came about when Angela saw the need for Mums and their babies and toddlers had limited places to go during the school holidays, when other play and music groups were closed. Angela and Peter now open their home for kids and their carer's for morning tea and play, during school holidays only. After thirty years of addiction and an amazing encounter with God, where Peter was totally released from his addiction, he then spent fifteen years in the U.K running rehabilitation centres for alcoholics and drug abusers. Peter moved out to New Zealand to be near his daughter and family in 2007 where he met Angela and they were married in 2011. Barnabas House was birthed from Peter and Angela's combined vision to see lives changed for God's glory. Mission Statement The aim of Barnabas House Ministries is to serve God and the community, and to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is done through our support for Free-2-Be Ministries International NZ and its work in Kenya, our drug and alcohol addiction consultancy, our school holiday 'play times' programme and our Christian B&B facility.
