I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring and inspiring atmosphere. This way they will be able to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically and socially. The type of approach I use is to value each child’s abilities and use their abilities and interests to educate them where possible.
I am originally from the UK and have lived in New Zealand for 5 years with my Husband and two children, Sadie and Flynn.
My previous positions have been in Customer Service, Human Resources and Recruitment. I have worked for Porse as a Home Educator for 3 years and have completed the National Certificate in Early Childhood Education.
My hobbies include walking, gardening, outings with my family, camping and being with friends.
As a flexible educator I offer children exciting opportunities to learn and grow in a caring and stimulating environment, promoting individuality and enhancing a child’s interests and capabilities. I work in with your lifestyle and parenting preferences in a safe and comfortable home environment.
One of my hopes as an educator is to install a love of learning to the children in my care, as I share my own passion for learning with them. I feel I am compassionate and dedicated to working with children.
