I listen to the body and do what it needs, rather than enforce upon it my preconceived idea of what it should do. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is an effective form of treatment for a wide range of lack-of-health issues helping to create optimal health, encouraging vitality and facilitating a sense of well-being. It is suitable for people of all ages including babies, children and the elderly, and pets and can be effective in acute or chronic cases. A treatment involves the practitioner "listening through the hands" with a gentle light touch/hold. Through the development of subtle palpatory skills the practitioner can read the story of the body, identify places where issues are held and then follow the natural priorities for healing as directed by the clients own physiology. The intention of a treatment is to facilitate the expression of the "Breath of Life" and so enhance the body's own self-healing and self-regulating capabilities. Craniosacral therapy is a very gentle approach. There is no pushing, adjusting or manipulating your body into a set or ‘correct’ position. There is no intrusive probing into your past. The contact is very gentle and people/animals often fall asleep during treatment. Because of this gentleness it is ideal for everyone and people/animals in a lot of pain.
