As well as a delicious selection of freshly made cabinet food, including muffins, cakes and slices, look out for our chef’s Cheesecake – it’s famous! We have a wide range of desserts and cakes on offer, with gluten free options too. Our café has a beautiful indoor-outdoor setting, with an impressive fireplace and gas heating for those cold winter months. We have space for 120 people, and also have free parking within the shopping complex, to take the hassle out of your visit. Inspired by travels around the Mediterranean and Middle East, Casablanca delights in bringing the warm hospitality and the bustling markets of Marakesh and Istanbul to Orewa on the Hibiscus Coast Highway. We are available for any meal, any occasion. Visit us for brunch, lunch, dinner or dessert; a meze to share or a coffee to go.

We have yummy sweet treats in-store that we make by ourselves on premises, great sandwiches and hot soup in a cup for those on the go. We use Toasted Espresso as our coffee beans, they are Organic and Fair-Trade. All our food is made on premises from fresh local ingredients. We have a good selection of delicious Gluten Free cakes in store at all times. We also do cakes to order. We do NOT do novelty cakes! We do NOT use fondant! Our cakes are real, moist and tasty. They look a bit rustic and not perfect. We do not use cake mixes, nor flour mixes. All our ingredients are natural - which makes our cakes DELICIOUS! To order a cake we will need 48 hours notice. Payment will be required upon ordering. We can offer you to rent (free of charge) a cake stand with your cake order - although bond of $20 will be required, and will be returned upon the return of the cake stand. If you need the cake to be made for the weekend, you can either pick the cake up on Friday or pick up during the weekend. If you choose to pick up during the weekend, a fee of $10 will be added to the total as I will make a special trip to the shop.

Historic place next to the Orewa house since 1840, just 5 minutes to the beach, hidden in the bush next to Victor Eaves Bush Walk. You will find us on the main road, Hibiscus Coast Highway, if you turn left just before the bridge up to Hatfield Beach. We are located around 15 minutes walk from the city centre. Breakfast from 9:30 until 11:45 am/ Lunch served from 11:30am until 2:30 pm/ Cabinet Food all day and a big range of our home made cakes, muffins and scones.
