Kim and Stuart's Experience
Kim and Stuart have both been brought up on farms and have spent their lives so far either living on a farm or closely connected to the farming community.
Stuart spent twenty years working on North Island farms which has given him extensive experience in all forms of farming in New Zealand. After moving closer to Auckland and moving onto a lifestyle block, Stuart could not help but notice how so many people seemed to be struggling to maintain their lifestyle blocks. Stuart and Kim set up Lifestyle Property Care in 2000 which was a huge success and the business grew rapidly. They grew the business to a point where they had to invest in more machinery and employ staff; at this point Stuart decided he wanted a complete change and became a Police Officer. Stuart has just completed a very successful career in the New Zealand Police based in Counties Manukau, a district he knows very well. Stuart's Policing career, combined with his farming experience has set him up with a sound knowledge base and practical ability to tackle all your needs.
Kim has worked for Air New Zealand for nearly 23 years, currently as a Flight Service Manager. Brought up on a farm in Raglan and with the help of family farms has retained contact with the farming community since moving to the city. For the last 13 years Kim and Stuart have been living their dream on a lifestyle block in Runciman which keeps them very in touch with the demands a small block of land can place on you.

In Depth Tours - Two - Two hour tour with the farm owner or if unavailable farm manager - this tour is designed for one or two people maximum. If you are wanting a more detailed, informative tour of two dairy units: one with 400 Freisian cows, the other 160 Jersey cows. The arable farming enterprise of Jane and John Wright's business has recently reduced in area to 190 ha, with 360 ha of irrigated land being converted to dairying with partners Trevor and Stacey Monson and the Methven Motors Group.
The arable business grows wheat, barley, peas, cockfoot seed, and perennial ryegrass seed. The seed crops are processed and packaged on farm for proprietary seed companies. The grain crops are predominantly used for feeding the dairy cows of the Methven Dairies business.
Under the guidance of Manager Millan Bungard the Wright Farms team also provide cultivation and planting services to a further 200 ha neighbouring land belonging to David and Sandra Wright.
Partners John and Jane Wright, Trevor and Stacey Monson and the Methven Motors Group converted the 360 ha irrigated arable farm for the 2012 milking season.
A 60 bale rotary shed is used to milk 1350 cows utilising the latest Milfos automation technology.
