Captain Morgan Snapper Bonanza Fishing Competition

Captain Morgan Snapper Bonanza Fishing Competition

Snapper Bonanza HQ, Waipapakauri ,
Who are we? The inaugural Captain Morgan Snapper Bonanza was created with the support of Captain Morgan Rum, Far North District Council & Community Board and business owners of Kaitaia. The goal was to recreate an exceptional surfcasting event for the many competitors who undertake an annual pilgrimage to the Far North of New Zealand to take part in a surfcasting extravaganza on the mighty 90 Mile Beach. The second one is now under our belts and we feel that it was an outstanding success. From the many quality prizes to the licensed bar on site, and the 600 plus entrants whom all agreed it was great. Comments like, “the best one yet”, “we will be back” and “don’t change anything, it’s awesome”, were well received. Those that were at the 2011 competition would have seen the early bird prize for 2012, a predator torpedo set complete with electric winch, worth $3600. To qualify for the early bird draw you need to have paid your entry fee by the 24th of December 2012. Order your own personal lucky number now. Your organisers Dave Collard, John Stewart & Brian Archibald *Please note: The Captain Morgan Snapper Bonanza is in no way associated with the Organisers of the Snapper Classic.
