We are part of a global network of women leading social and economic change in 125 countries worldwide. We reach more than 25 million women and girls through work in 22,000 communities, developing women's leadership to find local solutions to the global inequalities women face.

We have a membership of about 35 and welcome and invite any one to visit our meetings and see what we have done and do for the area children, youth, schools, disabled and elderly. Some of our projects include the Jane Gifford restoration, Riverbank wharf childrens playground and Take a Kid fishing from Sandspit held in April.

Play volleyball in the Warkworth area. We meet once a week for "semi-competitive" informal games just for fun.

The Northern Action Group is an apolitical organization. It has modeled an alternative council for the community of North Rodney to consider.

A.I.M. Adults in Motion Inc. is a not-for-profit organization which was set up in 2006 by a group of concerned caregivers and parents to provide day services for young adults with an intellectual disability (regardless of the level of disability) in the Rodney area to the north of Auckland, who are transitioning from school or who have already left school. Programmes are community based and provide participants with opportunities to develop life and employment skills

DCM might be a small organisation, but we are working on some of the biggest problems facing Wellington city. We support the most vulnerable people in our city to break the depressing cycle of life on the street, hospital emergency rooms, police cells, prison and the night shelter. DCM is not just there to pick up the pieces. We see our job as assisting people to put their lives back together. Our programmes are practical and useful. We assist many people to make dramatic changes in their lives. Often they achieve well-being and independence for the first time in a long time. At DCM, we have a big vision - we firmly believe that by working together, we can end homelessness in our city. But to do this, we need your help and support more than ever before.

The Wellington Young Feminists’ Collective has three functions: Social – We are first and foremost a social group for feminists. Learning – We are a place for feminists to share ideas, knowledge and encourage discussions. Activism – We support a variety of activism on feminist issues. Members (people who 'like' this page) can be involved with all or any functions that interest them. As we are primarily a social group, all activities are informal and we believe women having fun together and sharing knowledge is inherently powerful. Not all activities, events and learning will be on explicitly feminist topics. Not all of our members are women, and we believe that ‘feminist issues’ are everybody’s issues. However, as one of the functions of this group is learning about and working toward improving things that are important to women, or currently disadvantage women, many of our posts will be aimed at, about, or primarily relevant to women. This is our prerogative to do so, and if this alienates you then it’s likely the WYFC is not a great fit for you. We do not claim to represent all women or all feminists and not all members have to agree with everything in the Collective. Members do, however, have to sometimes agree to disagree and focus on what we have in common and what we can achieve together.

Wellsford Rockers is a group of like - minded friends who love rock and roll, swing, rockabilly and the music, dance and styling of the 1950’s era. We offer lessons, workshops, and social dan
