We have supported both Dance and Mau Rakau in many areas throughout Northland ranging from Kaitaia in the far north to Maungaturoto in the south of Northland. We run a variety of different programmes and events throughout the year for youth who are interested in these activities such as Hip Hop dance - Term 1 Hip Hop intensives in different communities with a goal to perforrm at a regional event - Weekly workshops in various communities - Holiday intensive programmes - Performances at local community events - Northland Secondary Schools Hip Hop Competition - Support identified youth leaders to teach younger kids to dance Mau Rakau - Weekly community workshops - Support weekend wananga and gradings - Support graded youth leaders to teach others - Support youth to gain NCEA credits in Mau Rakau
