WELCOME TO WAINUIOMATA NZ, EVENTS & ATTRACTIONS This page has been designed firstly to let local people know of events happening in Wainuiomata and our region as well as to assist tourists with information about Wainuiomata, the local walks, activities and attractions. My name is Denise and I am an experienced Graphic Artist having completed many design assignments, mainly for Tourism Businesses. I orginate from Kaikoura but have been living in Wainuiomata since 2010. I have recently given up my full time job as a Sales Manager for a major international company to return to doing what I love - designing eco clothing and helping businesses with their branding. This has give me time to assist Wainuiomata Businesses with their Branding and to introduce Wainuiomata to the Domestic and International Tourist. I believe that we have a beautiful place here with amazing spectacular scenery that is home to the National Icon (the Kiwi). I know for sure - having worked in tourism in one of the most popular tourist destinations in New Zealand that alot of people both from New Zealand and Overseas would love to see this place and spend time here. Overseas tourists love to get out into Nature as most of them come from places that 'Nature' - like we know it does not exist. We have 4x4 bike adventures, guided walking just around the corner, a sort after mountain biking track, horse treking and more ... and we have Kiwi's ... no other city in New Zealand has the Kiwi living so close as Wellington does. What an opportunity for the eco tourist to see where they live. Maybe to hear them call. WBC Life Impact Centre is a church devoted to God, Jesus and seeing His Holy Spirit move powerfully through the valley of Wainuiomata! Our first priorities are to love God and love people! We have a heart for providing a safe, loving and fun place where people can come and meet the creator of the universe! Our Senior Pastors Paul & Christine Edlin have a vision for seeing the chains on this valley and on the people in it being brocken off by the power of Jesus!
