We are convinced that our lives are caught up in a massive story of God restoring all of creation through Jesus. He showed us how to love and so we want to be loving. This may look slightly different for each of us but if we do it well, we suspect it will involve creating, relating and restoring, plus a whole load of other ‘ing’ words. Amen.

We, the Filipino catholic in Wanganui, come together to establish a unifying structure of the Core group. We shall provide the means of achieving participation of the parish and the community mission by giving encouraging, guiding, and directing the various aspects of renewing life. We shall gather together the thoughts and ideas of the community and, together, process these ideas until some general agreement has been reached. We shall then translate this consensus into core group that will provide the stimuli for programs to be carried out by the community. We shall strive to reflect the various elements of the community: Out of love and concern for those whom we serve, we offer our talents, expertise, insights and wide range of experiences. In light of our Christian faith, we shall express the direction of the core group in the priorities we establish, and the goals and objectives we set. "SUNDAY SERVICES" 10am and 6.30pm

We’re a collection of people learning what it means to be a community of Jesus followers. You will discover that we are working at centering our gatherings, our homes, our workplace and recreational experiences around Jesus Christ. We’re not a club or an exclusive society. We happily welcome anyone who wants to journey with us: Three year-olds and 93 year-olds alike. We believe the Bible is all about Jesus and we value its timeless wisdom, its re-visioning of our worldview, and its application in our 21st century culture.

A progressive church we think Jesus would attend without embarrassment: Inclusive, welcoming, compassionate and fearless. All are welcome no matter what their faith or background.
