We cater for children from 3months to five years and follow NZ Te Whariki Early Childhood Curriculum. We have experienced qualified ECE Teachers. Our programmes includes a wide range of activities designed to encourage creative problem solving skills, math, pre reading and language skills, science and nature activities as well as music, drama, art, technology and construction. Our hourly rate is $4.60 per child. All 3 and 4 year old children are eligible for 20 HOURS FREE. All meals provided and we offer a van service.

The purpose of this page is to keep our riders, volunteers, community and wider network of friends informed of the news and events at Wellington RDA (WRDA). If you are new to WRDA, our organisation is about several key things: - The empowerment and development of self-confidence for people who have physical, emotional, intellectual and social challenges - Respecting those around us, be they horse or human - Enriching our community and our team by having volunteers from all walks of life assist with the smooth running of WRDA. Safety is our number one priority, followed by fun, therapy, education, sport and recreation. Some additional information about WRDA: - We operate 5 days per week, 42 weeks per year - We cater to people with various and multiple disabilities - We work with primarily school aged children - We provide support for clients from Wellington City right through to the Kapiti Coast We provide a unique experience for people through: - Therapeutic riding for the rehabilitation of physically and intellectually disabled people. - Remedial or supplementary education opportunities for the stimulation of learning skills. - Behaviour modification through contact with trust in a large, warm responsive, trained animal. - Recreational and sport riding for people with disabilities
