Please post your memories of Motumaoho School and area on this page as we would LOVE to hear your stories. ~~~~~ A little bit of history… Motumaoho began as a communications link between Morrinsville and Hamilton. The Motumaoho Cheese Factory was opened in 1914 and continued to be operational until its closure in 1983. A one roomed school was built on the site in 1912 and with later additions was in use until 1969, when it was demolished after being replaced by a modern school complex complete with small library and staff-room transported to Motumaoho from Ohautira. The latter complex forms most of the existing school today, with the addition of the present library (a former Post Office) and in recent times, the new deck in front of the school. Our present school is an important part of the Motumaoho District, and is a contributing school which caters for Year 0 (New Entrants) up to Year 6.

Our pharmacy has been family owned and operated for over 30 years. Andrew and Violet Harley are the current owners as of 1st May 2012. Our motto is "old school pharmacy with new school knowledge".

Melodie M School of Makeup Artistry is a boutique, private school in Christchurch, providing an industry-focused Diploma of Make-up Artistry, and four part-time elective classes for those who are passionate about the art of make-up. On December 7th 1954 the Naenae Hotel opened its doors to the public in all its glory. Today over 50 years later shes still going strong just a little more modern! The Naenae Hotel is a great place to drink & socialize. Plenty of local patrons to meet and share a story or two! I also learn from you, my client, with every session that I give. I describe my work as healing massage. I can not massage without some sort of healing being imparted. This can be healing in any of its many forms, but please note, I do not diagnose or claim to cure. If you do not desire massage to be included in the session, you can receive a healing session only.
