CPIT School of Engineering
The main areas of engineering offered at CPIT are civil, electrical, mechanical, computer networking and computer aided design (CAD). Study options enable graduates to study a Bachelor of Engineering Technology (BEngTech) or a New Zealand Diploma of Engineering (NZDE) specialising in three key subject areas; mechanical, civil and electrical. Additional study options include certificates and diplomas in computer engineering, computer aided design (CAD) plus the Graduate Diploma in Computer Aided Design.
We also offer a range of part-time courses in a variety of study areas.
Our highly qualified tutors have worked with industry to develop engineering programmes that are relevant, up to date, and equip our students to assume key roles within the industry.
CPIT works closely with a range of businesses, institutions and organisations in engineering, information technologies and sciences to create internships, work experience placements and cutting-edge research projects. You can be confident a CPIT qualification gives employers a clear signal you have the skills, knowledge and practical experience to be effective in the workplace from day one.
The School of Engineering is located at our Madras Street Campus in Christchurch.
