New Brighton Cricket Club

New Brighton Cricket Club

Rawiti Domain, Shaw Ave, New Brighton , Christchurch ,
Senior Club The Senior Club, consists of our successful Senior A Side, a Senior B (2C) team and 3 teams in 4th grade. Whilst some grades may be described as 'social cricket', you can be assured all teams are playing competitive matches. Facilities The Club boasts excellent facilities at our 'home' ground, Rawhiti Domain, in New Brighton. The Club Rooms are well maintained, with full Bar facilities, and food available. Social Side The Social side of the club in constantly up for discussion, and events have been planned and successfully carried out (no arrests). Apart from our Saturday night 'Club Nights', we have organized 'Bus Trips', Auctions, as well as other functions. Our annual 'Double-wicket' competition, is a keenly contested Social event, mixing players from all grades, keen to get their names engraved on the Double Wicket Shield. Last year our Senior Side played an 'ex-players' side, and I am sure that they would like to make this an Annual event, if possible.
