CReW helping to reduce waste to landfill in our area by offering reusable items for resale to our community. We'd love to receive your unwanted goods and welcome you to our shop full of fantastic items for sale! There is an enormous range of stuff for sale that is ready to use or can be repurposed for more creative uses. We always have opportunities for volunteers to work with us to develop CReW into a thriving community enterprise. Come down and have a chat with one of the team; it's great to hear from people who have specific skills to offer, such as furniture repairs, bicycle repairs, electrical safety testing. We are part of the RCN E-Cycle network of electronic and electrical goods recyclers. Bring down your old computer or electrical equipment and we'll make sure none of it goes to landfill. There is a charge for some items to be recycled. We also accept all larger whiteware and domestic appliances, working or not.

Whakatane Secure Storage has 108 units in 28 different sizes ranging from 15 cubic metres to 180. The largest are 12 metres deep which makes them suitable for storing boats. With a fully concreted access way and apron and with most units having internal access ways apart from the entry door the facility is highly rated by customers and those who deliver goods there. Customers have 24 hr access, using a swipe card to get through the gate. The swipe card also turned off the alarm for that specific customers unit. The units are also fire lined.
