Ag Challenge Limited is one of Wanganui's longest serving Training Providers having successfully run training programmes for approximately 20 years. The goals of Ag Challenge Ltd are to develop skills and educate people for sustainable employment. Each student is considered holistically, having individual goals set for them which take their learning needs into account. Teaching takes place within small groups and some individual assistance with literacy and numeracy is available for those who require it. Ag Challenge Ltd provides a range of Trade Training programmes including Automotive, Agriculture and Carpentry programmes. All of these programmes work towards national certificates, containing industry-based unit standards. Practical learning is the focus and life skills (cooking, budgeting, numeracy and literacy) and creating a cv’s are incorporated into most programmes. Courses run all year round, and students are able to start at any time. Safety programmes are also offered part time and a fee paying Veterinary Nursing programme is run over 36 weeks for which student loans and allowances are available with this programme being run in conjunction with Wanganui Vet Services and students get to work alongside a working veterinary practice.

Parkour itself is a difficult thing to explain with words especially to people that aren't involved in it. Parkour has been riddled with bad press and miss information but essentially Parkour is a discipline based in useful movement it is the act of overcoming obstacles with the aim of being as efficient as possible. Due to the way Parkour is practiced it becomes quite influential on other aspects on the practitioners life. In Parkour you learn to push yourself a little more each time, set goals and work towards them and that any obstacle be it physical or mental can be overcome with training commitment.
