Wairoa College Services Academy initiative is designed to assist Year 12 and 13 students to make informed decisions for their chosen career pathway, learn a number of skills conductive to their own success and contributing to their long term economic independence and social well being.
Without challenges there are no rewards. Over the period of the course, students are provided with challenges, they are also rewarded for their hard work. This is achieved through dedication to their studies both physical and intellectual.
Stepping Up provides free, Community-based computer and Internet training. It helps you to take the next step in learnign how to use computers and the Internet effectively. From advancing your Microsoft Office skills to managing your finances and finding a cheap airfare online, you choose the four Digital Steps that best suit you. Each Digital Step takes 2.5 hours and is a great way to improve your skills and confidence.
