University of Waikato Tauranga Campus

University of Waikato Tauranga Campus

Tauranga’s the fifth largest city in the country and largest in the Bay of Plenty, boasting miles of beaches, forest, rivers, wineries, great shopping, cafes and heaps of sporting and recreational activities. We have the country’s largest export port and fastest growing population without the large city traffic jams. Tauranga’s also a great place in which to be a student. As well as the relaxed beach lifestyle and adrenaline-packed activities, there are 10,000 other students to hang out with at the campuses we share in the city and at Windermere with the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic. While we share the campuses, our programmes and classes are separate from the polytechnic programmes. The University of Waikato in Tauranga offers a smaller class environment than most universities. Everybody gets to know each other and students can interact one-on-one with lecturers. So choose Waikato in Tauranga – there’s no stopping you.
