This page holds a collection of over 1000 photos of past students and staff. Most of the photos have the names of all students and there is a search app which can be used to find photos by name. If you have any corrections or additions please send us a message via Facebook and we will make any necessary changes. If you have any old school photos that you think others would find nostalgic you are welcome to send us a message and attach them. Feel free to share any memories of your time at Nui by commenting on photos or albums. To preserve the accuracy of the names and search functionality - tagging of photos has been disabled. We would like to acknowledge all the hard work and immaculate record keeping of previous staff, including Mr Dave Anderson who's original photo database was used as the source data for all the photo tags. Also Mr Leonard who worked on developing an application to automate the face recognition, tagging and upload of photos as well as development of the search application.

Tauhara College is a state coeducational secondary school located in Taupo, New Zealand. Serving Years 9 to 13, the school has roll of approximately 600 students.Tauhara College is one of three high-schools in Taupo; the others being Taupo-nui-a-Tia College and Lake Taupo Christian School (private).As well as normal school curriculum, Tauhara runs various night-classes for the public, and has a long successful record of hosting international students from all over the world.CanoesThe students in the school are divided into four "canoes" which compete in numerous events, mostly sporting, throughout the year in order to gain the most points in the Tauhara College Canoe Competition. The theory was not supported by the Tauhara College School Board, nor Murphy himself. At the same time the school board announced it would be replaced by an independent commissioner as it felt it was "battering its head" against Mr Grant without making any headway or much needed changes to the school's management.
