We’re a collection of people learning what it means to be a community of Jesus followers. You will discover that we are working at centering our gatherings, our homes, our workplace and recreational experiences around Jesus Christ. We’re not a club or an exclusive society. We happily welcome anyone who wants to journey with us: Three year-olds and 93 year-olds alike. We believe the Bible is all about Jesus and we value its timeless wisdom, its re-visioning of our worldview, and its application in our 21st century culture.

We were appointed as Missionaries to New Zealand in 1984 and arrived in the
country in 1986. Initially liaisoning between headquarters and the resident
Maori church in New Zealand, we traveled and taught throughout the country,
preaching in various seminars, conferences and meetings. However, our primary
objective was to begin a church in Christchurch South Island where we eventually
established four churches and a Bible school. By 1995 the Maori work had grown
to the place where they desired to become nationalized. After a move in 1998 to
Hamilton North Island our focal point transferred to pastoring Pentecostal Lighthouse
and we began the Christian College of Theology, which eventually incorporating the
GATS (Global Association of Theological Studies) program in 2010 as well. After
opening a new work, we now pastor Grace Fellowship and oversee nine UPCI
churches and five preaching points currently active in New Zealand.

The New Zealand Sikh Society was established in 1964. The first Sikh Temple was built in Hamilton in 1977. As the Punjabi Community grew, a branch of the NZ Sikh Society was established in Auckland and another Sikh Temple was built at Otahuhu Auckland in 1986.
Since then the Sikh population has grown remarkably and a number of Sikh Societies has been established all over New Zealand. Now there are many Sikh temples in New Zealand a list of these can be found in our site.
We appreciate the support given by Sikh Sangat Hamilton, Hamilton sikh Society Committee Members and sponsers to set up this website for the benefit and promotion of Sikh and Punjabi Culture in New Zealand.
We are a church located in the north of Hamilton, New Zealand. We aim to reach out to the people of Hamilton, connect them with other like-minded people and help them reach their potential in Christ.
