Westpark Marina

Westpark Marina

18 Clearwater Cove, Hobsonville ,
With a sheltered 592-berth safe harbour, public boat ramp, Clearwater Cove Yacht Club, harbour ferry and numerous shops and services, West Park is the only marina complex of its kind in West Auckland. West Park is a very protected body of water, something appreciated by owners who leave their boats at harbour for long periods. A bi-annual dredging programme is in place to constantly maintain marina depth. A few berths are available for sale under a licence to occupy until 2035. Operation costs have remained constant for some years and berths are very reasonable by comparison to other marinas. Berths are also currently available for short and long term rental. West Park Marina management enjoys an open and transparent relationship with berth holders who are officially represented on marina issues. The experienced management team look after health, safety and environmental issues; boat tows, LPG supplies, and marina maintenance. Berth holders are well served with ablution blocks and laundry facilities; also a superette, boat chandlery and cafe, while next door is the Marina Bar & Restaurant. Numerous shops and services complete the retail complex, including a hairdresser, dentist, accountant, insurance, boat brokers and childcare trainer. At the marina's south end the upgraded public boat ramp provides easy access, good trailer parking and safe launch facilities. West Harbour ferry service operates three vessels running 12-14 sailings daily from 7am. Back from the shoreline are excellent marine service, repair and refurbishment industries, served by 35 and 70-tonne travel lifts and a hard stand. A secure trailer boat parking facility is also available for short and long term stays. West Park Marina is an active member of the Marina Operators Association and a supporter of the newly launched Clean Marina Initiative.
