Precision Irrigation was developed in New Zealand by a team of talented engineers all from farming backgrounds. In 2007 our team noticed a demand in the market for a more intelligent irrigation system. With the worlds resources becoming more valuable (especially water) and the likes of carbon foot prints being noticed in the industry, a more precise, efficient irrigation system was a logical idea. In 2008 Precision Irrigation was released to the market. With each individual sprinkler on the irrigator being monitered remotely via a GPS map. It gave farmers control over their irrigator they had never before been able to achieve. By controlling each sprinkler individually Precision Irrigation allows irrigators to provide more water to areas that need it, such as high draining soils, while preventing any water reaching areas that don't need it, such as; races, yards, sheds etc.
