84 Selwyn Street, Onehunga was constructed in 1920, it's original function was as the Girl's Cookery classroom (located adjacent to the original Onehunga School). With a twin building next door which was the Boys's Woodwork classroom. Pupils would bus from across the Auckland region - schools as far away as Papakura to take classes here. At some later stage the buildings were utilised as an orphanage & beyond that sat dormant for many years. In 2008 I took on 82 Selwyn Street, undertaking a major renovation I was able to win over the landlord & convinced them that I would give the building a new lease of life. Now it is time to treat No.84 with the same care & attention, and transform the beautiful old building into a great space. Once the renovation is complete No.84 will be available to lease, so keep watching the project here & on the blog (launching very soon).

Takanini Railway Station is on the Southern Line of the Auckland railway network. The station has an island platform layout and is accessed from Manuroa Road, Station Road and Taka Street.Proposed upgradeA proposal was made by the former Papakura District Council to create a new station and Park and Ride facility at Glenora Road, next to the new Southgate shopping centre, to coincide with the new Addison residential development taking place on the former horse training track land.In 2012 the Papakura Local Board requested a new station and park and ride be built at Walters Road. This proposal was listed in Auckland Transport's draft land transport plan.

Swanson Railway Station is on the Western Line of the Auckland railway network, on the North Auckland Line. It will be the westernmost and northernmost point of the electrified network when electrification is completed.
