Temptation Cakes

Temptation Cakes

After 20 years of cheffing in some of Aucklands top cafes I have decided to branch out on my own making celebration cakes, which is my true passion. I am the sole owner/operator of Temptation Cakes Ltd & at this stage i don`t have a retail space, I rent a commercial kitchen 2-3 days a week until i get busy enough to warrant renting a shop. So with this i can keep my overheads low. The cost of my cakes are at times half the price of those who have the huge overheads of a shop and staff. So with buying from Temptation Cakes you will get top quality designer cakes at very reasonable prices. Terms and Conditions of Sale Deposit - A 50% Deposit is required to secure your date. This deposit is not transferable. The remaining 50% is to be paid 14 days before pick up or drop off of your cake, or the full amount can be paid at this time if desired. Cancellations – Orders cancelled within 1 month of the function date result in an automatic forfeit of your full deposit. Orders cancelled prior to 1 month will have the deposit refunded, less a $40 administration fee. Final Payment – The remaining 50% is to be paid 14 days before your cake drop off or pick up, unless full amount has been paid prior.

Ooooby

Ooooby

182 Awaawaroa Rd, Awaawaroa Bay, Waiheke Island, Auckland ,
Ooooby (Out of our own back yards) connects communities through local food. If you grow food or if you like to eat local food then Ooooby is for you. Ooooby exists in two ways. 1. as a food growers trading network. Ooooby is like Facebook for people who grow food. You can connect with all scales of food growers and from all over the world. Most members are in New Zealand so far, but don't let that stop you joining up, Ooooby is for anywhere and everywhere. There are currently over 5,000 members talking to each other about things like gardening tips, seasonal recipes, keeping chooks and bees, preserving surplus food and more. It's kind of like going to a food growers festival online... so much to see and do. The other thing members are doing is finding out who else in their neighbourhood is into growing and eating local food. There are now local groups who organise food bartering days and local meet ups. If you would like to start a group in your local area drop us an email to hello@ooooby.com and we'll talk you through some ideas. 2. as a local food home delivery service. To go one step further toward bringing about the cottage food renaissance, we have also set up the Ooooby Box service where we deliver food from local farmers and backyard growers to local doorsteps. If you fancy growing more food for a bit of extra pocket money, we can make it as easy for you as popping your harvest on your doorstep ready for pick-up and being paid market rates... more If you like the sound of having a box of locally and ethically grown food delivered to your door on a regular basis, then here's where to sign up. Ooooby Box. Only available in Auckland so far. If you would like to get your town or city doing the Ooooby Do, just email us at hello@ooooby.com and we can line up a chat. How can I get involved? Join the social network by signing up at www.ooooby.ning.com Or shop for local food at www.ooooby.org Ooooby members are part of the food revolution that is building massive momentum every day. Millions are returning to their own backyards and embracing the once declining skill of food growing. Ooooby is a lifestyle choice with the goal of eating the bulk of our basic foods fresh from our own local area. We are not talking about giving up chocolate or coffee because they're not produced locally. We are simply suggesting that it is possible for our basic staple to be provided from local sources if we work together with local farmers and backyard food growers. At Ooooby like minded people gather to share up to date information about local food, growing tips, inspirational stories and more. Lots of people are also using Ooooby as a way to facilitate back yard food swaps and sales. The engagement of Ooooby in your local area can create a kind of contingent food economy for your community in the event of global economic or ecological shifts.
NZ Farm Co

NZ Farm Co

48a Anzac Rd, Browns Bay, Auckland ,
We like food we think it should be enjoyed and celebrated by everyone. We like to know where it comes from and we like to know the people who made it and that it's good. We're proud that all our meat including our fresh NZ Beef, Lamb, Pork and Chicken are all top quality NZ farmed meat. The meat is just as likely to have come from one of our own farms as it is from one of our contributing farms - and all from NZ. We have taken the best of local and overseas know how and experience, most of our secret recipes have been handed down through generations many of them originating in South Africa, Holland, Germany, UK, Italy, France and right here in NZ ... to name but a few countries that have helped influence us! Our extremely popular fresh Sausages, bacon, ham and salami are also award winning - we aren't the only ones who think they're awesome. We make all our own meat products - anything with a NZ Farm Co label on we made and as hard as it is for us to admit there are other New Zealand food producers out there that produce excellent products as well .... so we also stock their products!! When you want a little something on the side ... we have an everchanging range of New Zealand products produced by like-minded artisan producers.
