Bluebird pottery was started in Sept 2011 as an outlet for my creative talents outside of my office day job. Having studied Three Dimensional Design at Manchester Metropolitan University and choosing Ceramics as the medium for my final project i had wanted to get back into the craft for some time.
Under the excellent tuition of potter Jim Ellis my skills are being honed and tested and hopefully i will begin to create items worthy of exhibition status.
I enjoy making items for practical use, i love the idea of having handmade lovely things to use every day and often make things for myself.
