The SouthernRural Districts are comprised of three small churches; Holy Cross at Portland, All Saints at Maungakaramea and Christ Church at Mangapai.
Service Times:
At Christ Church, Whangarei: Sunday - 7.30am & 9.30am; Wednesday - 7.30am & 12.15pm; Friday - BCP Litany - 10.15am, BCP Communion 10.30am.
The Church is also used by the Maori Pastorate who hold services at 11am on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.
At Selwyn Park Village: Sunday - 10.30am.
At All Saints, Maungakaramea: Second Sunday of the month - 9.30am.
At Holy Cross, Portland: First and fourth Sundays of the month - 9.30am.
At Christ Church, Mangapai: First and third Sundays of the month - Interdenominational Service - 11.00am.

The Whangarei Group RDA is now one of the largest RDA groups in New Zealand operating 4 days a week with the RDA program me for up to 80 riders and provides our facilities for the Horses for Healing mental health programme which runs on Fridays.
We have seven paid staff, three coaching staff, an occupational therapist, office manager, stable manager and a caretaker who along with our forty odd volunteers keep the centre running efficiently.
We are always seeking interested volunteers to help in any capacity.
This model is up and running successfully in other parts of the country and the rest of the world.
Basically people register their interest in helping to pick fruit or volunteer their fruit to be harvested and shared for the greater good. If you have a fruit tree laden with fruit that just ends up rotting on the ground please email, text, phone us!!

This camp is a non-profit community facility administered by the regent Community trust. The buildings and grounds have been voluntarily developed over the years. Bookings can be made though the booking office at camp@whangareicbc.org.nz or phone (09) 4383948 and chat to Didi.

Monday to Thursday - 8.30am to 12.30pm OR 8.30am to 2.30pm AND
Friday - 8.30am to 12.45pm
Chart is dedicated to the continued growth of Whangarei's arts and heritage community. We work alongside the Whangarei District council in establishing Whangarei as an arts culture and heritage destination.
