Akaroa Museum reflects the history of Banks Peninsula, New Zealand. The Museum has two permanent galleries, one temporary gallery, and three heritage buildings: Langlois-Eteveneaux House, the Court House and the Customs House. The Museum also has research resources for family history and an archive and local history library accessible by appoinment. Please contact by phone or email for further details. Please note: the Museum is currently closed to the public due to concerns related to the seismic strength of the galleries. We will be re-opening as soon as possible
