Help Green our Uni! is a group of The University of Auckland students who are interested in learning about and getting involved in reducing the university’s environmental footprint.
Anyone can join the group, ask questions and keep up to date with progress that The University and its students are making towards becoming a more environmentally sustainable community.
This facebook group will post information on our waste and water minimisation initiatives, energy management, student engagement and the rethink*reduce*reuse*recycle* ethos developed by the Sustainability & Environment Programme.
You can also find information on events, seminars, courses and outings such as tree planting days taking place on campus and around our city.
The primary mission of the Institute is to become a center for excellence offering an education with programmes and services that are person, industry and community oriented supported by appropriate resources and technology.
To fulfill this mission, we shall design, deliver, and continually improve highly effective programmes for learners through advanced graduate and professional levels influenced by the reciprocal relationship between scholarship and practice; collaborate with other educational institutes across New Zealand and in other professional and community settings as partners; and provide leadership in teaching, learning, assessment, and professional development for diverse community within New Zealand.
The Auckland University Engineers Association (AUEA) was established in 1957. We are possibly the oldest alumni association in New Zealand and preceded The University of Auckland Alumni Association by 33 years. Our charter is to support the University of Auckland, Faculty of Engineering through alumni networks and by ways of grants and awards.
