The club was formed in 1919 as the Prebbleton-Halswell Rugby Club. Later the club dropped off the Halswell to become solely Prebbleton. The club has been growing steadily over the last 32 years, with the number of teams growing from five in 1978, to 16 in 2010.

All archers welcome - Learners, experienced, field and target, hunters and the curious. We are organizing an open day and will announce it here when ready to go. The Raglan Rugby Club has been very kind in allowing Raglan Archers to use their Rugby fields when not in use by the rugby teams. They have also given Raglan Archers access to their facilities so we have changing rooms and toilets.
