GISBORNE TAIRAWHITI RUGBY LEAGUE is affiliatted under NEW ZEALAND RUGBY LEAGUE..It hosts a local Mens & Ladies Club Competition each year,with a Representitive team selected to compete at National level. 2012 looks to be a big year with the appointment of a "Kiwi Sport Position" who will focus on school grade growth. 6vs6 aside teams must have a min 2 of each sex it will be a Tournament running over a few months and there will be a Big Cash prize for the 1/2 place teams

Entry fee for each team is $160 min 6 players in a team and up to 10max so if you have 7people in your team it works out to be $22.50 each or $2.50 a game based on 9 games All entry fees must be paid on/befor the 1st game
It will be 3 points for a win and 1 for a draw
Top 4 teams at the end will play in a semi and final witch will be longer games

Roller Hockey is a fast pace, "non contact sport" that has been played since the late 1800's and is still going today. In the world there are over 50 countries that play Roller Hockey that compete at world championships against the best of the best.
Currently in New Zealand we have 4 Clubs that compete against each other at various tournaments throughout the year.

Splash N Dash is a new Swim/Run series being held at Ngamotu Beach in New Plymouth. There will be 6 events in total; 6th December 2012, 20th December 2012,
The North Shore Marathon is a marathon, half marathon, 10km, 5km fun run or walk and kids 2km fun run event is focussed on what runners want.
Held in Late August / Early September each year.
