I am a stay at home Mum with two boys who kinda fell upon this sewing thing! I made the odd piece for myself and the boys and then started to get the odd request and now here I am doing mostly womens garments. And now I have a continuous flow of customers (many who have come back more than once for more pieces) and have even been requested to do business work uniforms from hoodies and tunics for a daycare to merino hooded cardys for office ladies plus cardys and vests for nurses. Where in the past we provided a great range of gift ware, covering a wide range of tastes, we have now introduced a wonderful range of French Provincial furniture, a splattering of Industrial furniture, made from iron and recycled timber and for a dash of colour, a few contempory pieces. On October 18th 2012 Kiwi owned footwear company Muya New Zealand opened its first and only store in Auckland's upmarket shopping strip, Newmarket. Muya New Zealand is a subsidiary to Muya International, a European brand. With two production lines, one based in Istanbul, Turkey and the other Moscow, Russia, Muya is a manufacturing company. Muya has been operating in the footwear industry since 1996, it exports to over 52 countries around the world. Being very popular in Europe, Muya New Zealand saw the demand for high quality and affordable European made footwear and it has specially designed styles to be sold to New Zealand and Australia consumers. Muya New Zealand isn't only a shoe store, but also a wholesaling company as well as a supplier to New Zealand and Australian Retailers. The soles of the shoes are Pholyurethane.
