Companies that use paid for Control Panel's, will often find it hard to get support for any issues that may arise with their software. The reason that other Hosting Companies use these Control Panel's, is because until now this has been the only real solution available for companies to host websites. Hosting Companies get charged a monthly or annual fee for the privilege of using this software. This fee will then be passed on to the Customer when they price their packages.
By using an Open Source Control Panel, we can provide services at a fraction of the cost of other Hosting Providers, making us very competitive in today's market. We do however, donate a percentage of all our hosting accounts to help fund this open source project. There are always new modules and templates in development, which if we find useful we install for our customers to use.
Our Control Panel is the latest Stable release of the software which is very secure with no vulnerabilities whatsoever. However the developers are in the process of making it even more secure than it already is, which will make it far superior than the paid for equivalents.
Our servers are maintained by our in house, highly trained staff, so unlike huge Server Farms, this means that any issues can usually get dealt with pretty quickly. Our servers have a realistic up-time of 99.9%. Companies that tell you that their servers have an up-time of 100% is misleading. Realistically, no server can be run with an up-time of 100% all the time. This is not good for the server equipment and the network.
