J B Jack had been a Judge of the Maori Land Court until 1917, and was still in the firm together with his son Sir Roy Jack in the 1970s. Sir Roy was then MP and Speaker of Parliament. Colin Riddet, Bob Wallis and John Tripe, were partners from the 1970s. John Tripe became a Consultant in 2012, and Mark Bullock became the firm's Principal.
