Welcome to Te Manawa! Te Manawa is a regional cultural centre where art, heritage and science themes dominate. Our exhibitions explore the past, seek to inform today and pose questions about tomorrow. We host international touring shows and home grown exhibits. Opening hours: We are open everyday from 10am - 5pm. Closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day and Good Friday.

We are all about getting everyone active everyday. How? We develop the capability of local coaches and clubs, encourage sport in schools, promote active transport, run community events, attract significant sports events to the area and much more. We have been active as a charitable trust since 1987 serving the Manawatu, Tararua and Horowhenua.

PLANT TO PLATE is a community programme free to all primary schools across Palmerston North and district. We deliver a quality service led by teachers and assisted by experienced, enthusiastic volunteers who enjoy working with children.
