LJ Hooker Whangarei Junior Athletics is a friendly club catering for all age grades and all levels of athletic talent and experience. Whether you're a beginner wanting to give athletics a try, or an experienced athlete new to the district, you'll be made most welcome! We cater for all ages from seven to 13. We also have a fun preschool program for preschoolers! For all participating children we ask parents to be present and help out! This club needs parent help to run smoothly so it is expected you assist with timing, measuring or offering support with various activities. We provide both competitive and fun events and hold several ribbon days each season. If you'd like to see what Athletics Whangarei is all about, we offer new members two free club visits to see if the club suits you. Just pop along on a club day or night and join us! After the two free trial visits, if you decide to join us then all you need to do is complete a registration form and pay your subscription.
