On average in just the Wellington area we send out 100 care packs per year for infants under 2yrs old. We would like to be able to add some warm knitting/crocheting to our care packs for our under twos to help them stay warm through the cold winter months. Can you help us??
At Foster Hope Knitters we are looking for volunteers who love to knit or crochet who are situated anywhere in New Zealand. We need you to help our baby boys and girls by knitting them a Cardigan, Beanie and Booties or just a pram blanket to go into their care packs.
We are also looking for people who can't knit but are able to donate wool or postage to this great cause.
