Otumoetai College is a co-educational secondary school located in the Tauranga suburb of Otumoetai. It prides itself on its diversity, offering a wide range of choices across the curriculum, as well as many extra-curricular activites ranging from drama and music to robotics and sport.
There is a large International Department at Otumoetai College, catering for international students attending from many different countries around the world.
A Special Needs Unit provides a caring learning environment to support students with particular physical and intellectual needs.
Our Sports Foundation offers a programme for elite sports people which enables them to combine their sporting activities with their school programme.
Otumoetai Intermediate School offers two years of specialist education for Year 7 + 8 students in the"middle years"As well as heavy emphasis on academic development, and its wider range of activities
We are the Motocross team of Otumoetai College with skill levels ranging from beginning to expert. Our goal is to bring home some trophies, make some friends, promote the sport, and get as dirty as possible!

About Otumoetai Playcentre:
- All children 0 - 6 years are welcome.
- We operate 5 mornings a week - 9.00-11.30
- 16 areas of play are available every session, both indoors and out. Allowing children to learn and explore each of these areas at their own pace is a real highlight of Playcentre.
- Being parent-run, we are very inexpensive. In return, parents/caregivers do one 'duty' day per week, and also attend workshops to expand their ideas for play and encouraging the creativity of our tamariki.
- We have an awesome NZQA training programme offered free to Playcentre members.
- We love to see new faces, so give us a call at the start of any session to arrange a visit.

Otumoetai Intermediate School offers places to international students and hosts a number of international groups each year.
At our school international students can become part of school classes and New Zealand families. The school encourages all students to become involved in school activities and international students are able to learn or improve their English by working and playing alongside New Zealand students. Our international students are valued members of our school community and bring a cultural diversity to the school that we all really enjoy.

Otumoetai School (More commonly known as Otumoetai Primary School) is a school in the city of Tauranga, in northern New Zealand. The school was opened in 1912, and was the first to open in the area. The current principal is Geoff Opie (2002- ) and the school had 513 students in 2007.
