Even though we are a small parctice, we have very good facilities and we pride ourselves on being caring and compassionate, endeavouring to build a strong relationship with our clients and their pets. We have two vets, Graham Kirker and Maria Lombard who job share and two nurses Emily and Nicole who are aways ready with a smile, advise and a helping hand ( especially with those tablets!) Poupou Huia Te Reo is a ***free online course made up of a series of audio lessons and online activities. Well-known fairytales and the daily activities of a real whānau provide a context for learning. Students can fashion a learning schedule that suits their daily routine. Aimed at beginners through to intermediate learners Poupou Huia Te Reo teaches language intended for use in the home, at work and in everyday situations. Students will learn how to talk about common activities in a way that reflects Māori ways of thinking and doing things ***This course is free to domestic students living in New Zealand and New Zealand citizens living overseas. You will be staying in our 1930's original Otaki Bach. 5 minutes’ walk to Otaki beach and surf club and 5 minutes’ drive to the pub's and cafe's at Otaki Beach Township. Of course the attractions of Otaki town on State Highway One are only a further 5 minutes away! (Ladies we are talking OUTLET SHOPS!) We have named our bach "The Castle" after the iconic Australian movie of the same name. For those have not been privileged enough to ever see this movie a copy of the DVD is available to watch during your stay! We think we have provided everything that you will need to enjoy your stay; all you need to bring is your bed linen, pillows, towels, food and DRINKS! Tariff We charge a Summer rate of $100.00 a night, NOvember to April, and a Winter rate of $80.00 per night and this can be paid to us via internet banking.
