Light Nelson will be an Illuminated, interactive and lively series of events that capitalizes on the artistic strengths and spirit of the Nelson community.
Light Nelson will integrate seamlessly with the Winter Festival which is scheduled for 19th July - 4th August 2013.
The project will have several components including a spectacular opening to coincide with the start of the Winter Festival over the first weekend of the school holidays (19th-21st July); Queens Gardens and the Maitai walkway will be turned into a magical space filled with interactive light art installations leading through to the Nelson School of Music which will host stunning musical performances that complement the Light theme.
