Kerikeri Farmers Market
The Bay of Islands Farmers' Market is one of the biggest in the country with almost 80 currently approved stallholders - not bad with a population base of about 10,000. A reason for the size is the great variety of local produce that grows in our temperate climate and the enthusiastic and creative artisan producers who make the most of this bounty
We have a very strong base of regular market shoppers and being in the heart of the Bay of Islands, the numbers swell with the influx of visitors, especially in the summer months. We are very proud to be able to showcase the very best food in the north to our visitors, both national and international, in Kerikeri every Sunday morning, rain or shine (and even the tail end of the odd tropical cyclone!)
Many of our stallholders can also be found on the Paihia Village Green on Thursday afternoons from 2pm. This market started trading last summer and although originally intended as a summer market, its popularity with visitors and locals alike saw it continue through its first winter and it is now a firmly established year round market.
We look forward to seeing you at a market near you soon!!
