So I'm Ra Savage, a.k.a. miss salvage! Amongst other things, I am a photographer, an artist, a sewer, a designer, and long-time op shop and garage sale fanatic! I have always had a special kind of love for vintage and retro fabrics and prints, crockery and home-ware, paintings and furnishings, and as you will see I am totally into rescuing, recycling and re-crafting, using these materials as both medium and inspiration for my art, photography and gift wares. It is my hope that through re-using and celebrating these beautiful materials we will not only contribute a little to the longevity of our precious planet but also create an awareness of the value and beauty of pre-loved possessions in this increasingly disposable society - old things are not necessarily junk to be discarded but can be potential treasures to be lovingly re-crafted into something of beauty... x Ra
