People Potential is a private tertiary provider established in 1990, situated in Whangarei & Kaikohe. People Potential provides educational opportunities for Northlanders.
The founders of Te WÄnanga o Aotearoa understood the importance of knowledge and learning. Through personal sacrifice and a single-minded commitment to the principle of whÄnau transformation through education, these visionaries established a successful, values-based, inclusive tertiary education organisation for all New Zealanders. From humble beginnings with less than 20 students, Te WÄnanga o Aotearoa has grown to be one of the largest and most successful tertiary institutions in the country delivering education to more than 35,000 students nationwide each year.
12 noon Saturday - opening ceremony and lap of honour followed by the Survivorship Celebrations. 9pm- The Candlelight Ceremony and Lap of Hope, open to the public, Candle tribute are available onsite at the event as well as from Cancer Society in the weeks before the event.
12 noon Sunday - Final Lap of Honour and Closing Ceremony.
The WBHS Old Boys' Association is an Incorporated Society registered under the Charities Commission. All Old Boys of the School who attended as pupils are eligible to become Members of the Association, as are all past and present Staff Members of Whangarei Boys’ High School.
