The Wairere Drive 4-Laning (Pukete Road to Pukete Bridge) project involves the widening and improvement of the 2.1km section of Wairere Drive (Pukete Road to Resolution Drive) from two lanes to four lanes, signalised intersection construction and the addition of a clip-on pedestrian and cyclist facility to the existing Pukete Bridge.
The River Road signalised intersection improvements involved the removal of River Road roundabout and centre islands and transformation of the area into a signalised intersection.
The Wairere Drive Extension from Crosby Road to Ruakura Road project completes a section of the Hamilton Ring Road Project where two lanes on each approach are provided, construction of two over bridges (1x road and 1x rail), three new pedestrian underpasses, a new roundabout and and two new signalised intersections.
The Peachgrove Road/TeAroha Road Intersection Upgrade and Ruakura Road Upgrade involves the construction of a new signalised intersection where Wairere Drive meets Ruakura Road, the upgrade of the existing Peachgrove Road/Te Aroha Street intersection the 4-laning of Ruakura Rd between the two intersections.
