Bloke Stuff

Bloke Stuff

26 Waipuna st, Blenheim ,
I fix and build things around the home, house, hospital, hotel... Almost anything. I am a qualified true local 6th generation Marlburian with true community spirit. I do allllll the usual carpentry stuff (fix doors, build walls, joinery..etc...etc) BUT IN ADDITION TO THIS I CAN TO OTHER UNCARPENTRY THINGS (build flat pack things, painting, hang TV brackets, mow lawns, cut down trees, fix garage doors, line dove houses, small concreting jobs...and so on and so on) Here is a little more about my background: I started my building career in Sydney when I started labouring for a labour hire company. I worked as a labourer for 6 months before being offered full time work with a construction company that builds supermarkets. from there i worked for a year as a labourer and then a further three years while i studied carpentry at a TAFE institute. i continued to work for a builder in Sydney and decided that the fast life was not for me. so i moved my family back to Blenheim. Since then i have worked locally for three years in both maintenance and building. Iv been involved in renovating bathrooms and kitchens, fixing doors, fixing windows, building commercial premises, cutting hedges, moving clothesline to sunnier locations, insulating pet houses, concreting, gib stopping, relining walls, repairing rotten parts of buildings, decking, mowing lawns, pruning, filling gardens....

Pinoli Pine Nuts

Pinoli Pine Nuts

3582 Waihopai Valley Rd, Blenheim ,
Our pine nuts are ivory-coloured, have a satiny surface appearance, and a crisp bite when you eat them. These are all hallmarks of freshness of the product and careful preparation of the kernels. You may notice that they are a little longer and slimmer than Chinese pine nuts and we think that when used whole, they make a more elegant preparation in any recipe to which they are added. Pine nuts have a long shelf life if stored properly but can become yellow or waxy-looking if stored for too long or if poorly prepared from the cones.
