Winnie Bagoes has been The Home of Gourmet pizza for approximately 18 years, in Christchurch. With humble beginnings at 82 Lichfield Street, seating about sixty people growing to a 180 seat restaurant situated at 194 Gloucester Street. This was our home from 2003 to 2010. With the unfortunate and devastating effects of the September 2010 quakes, saw Winnie Bagoes close, due to the unsafe condition of Winnie Bagoes House. Winnie Bagoes found alternative premises and relocated to the old Vic & Whale site, 772 Colombo Street. We were underway again by late October 2010, and we were enjoying trade a happy to be providing Christchurch's Best Gourmet Pizza experience to the people once again. The events of February 2011 with a second sudden jolt, ended our ideas of staying at the Colombo Street. With the loss of the second site within 4 months, had us all at our wits end, and wondering what to do!........ Persistence and determination allowed us to refocus our energies into finding a new site, to be part of the City rebuild.. and make this the Best City in the World!!! We are proud to announce that the new Winnie Bagoes City, will be operational again on Monday 27th May 2013. Phase one as we call it will see only the Bar and courtyard area operational, with a limited Menu, ( watch for the Builders Menu Post). The final phase will comprise, the main dining area, private dining rooms, full kitchen, and offices. this phase should be completed approximately 4 weeks later, with a Grand Opening date late June/early July. We can't wait to see you all back here at Winnies, We can't wait to show you around, we can't wait for your to experience NZ's Best Pizza once again, in the City!!! ......... and we have some surprises.. but you'll have to come and see it all happen,!!!! All consumables are single-use disposable, this means everything is brand new and nothing is re-used between clients. For all initial piercings, we use either ASTM F-136 certified Titanium or 100% biocompatible materials, such as Niobium, 18kt Gold and Glass. I employ a clamp-free technique for a more gentle, less traumatic approach to body piercing. I offer a fully sterile procedure, this means that everything that is used for your piercing is sterilised prior to use, eliminating any chance of microbial transference. All of the jewellery used is internally threaded or threadless, making this the safest possible option for your piercing. After my daughter Cadence (Cadenza Bella in Italian) was born I was introduced to the world of little girls and quickly became obsessed with everything that glitters and twirls. Each piece that I make is lovingly handmade by me right here in Christchurch New Zealand out of quality materials. My goal is to make your little girl (and the big girls - hens nights and dressups are great times to crank out your own special tutu) feel like a princess in absolute luxury at affordable prices. I am also big on upcycling, so will be making one off originals out of upcycled clothing aswell. So keep your eyes on this spot!
