BAMBOO MASSAGE. $50 for 40 minutes
This is where the therapist incorporates the use of Bamboo canes or tools of varying lengths and widths in the massage to provide deep-tissue work. They can also be used in a Relaxation style massage. The Bamboo is usually warmed but it can also be used cooled. This may seem like a new technique but it has ancient roots. As far as I know I am the only therapist in Whangarei that is providing Bamboo massage. The Bamboo tools can be used in any form of massage I do.
PREGNANCY MASSAGE. $40 for 40 minutes
I do alot of pregnancy massage at the clinic, and it is something I love to do.
Pregnancy massage can be done in the second and third trimester with approval from your lead maternity carer. I do sessions of about 40 minutes. Any longer can be too much for mum and baby to process. Pregnancy massage is helpful in the releif of back pain, sciatic pain and other pregnancy related symptoms. Most mums to be want their back and neck massaged but it can also be nice to have your feet, legs and hands done.
