The ShoreLine Cinema is an independent Cinema established in the seaside town of Waikanae in 2008 by Shane Jarrett and Jeremy Dempsey. Featuring an eclectic mix of films from New Zealand and around the world, Shane and Jeremy have not only brought their passion for good film to the Kapiti coast, but also the experience that encapsulates boutique cinema. Featuring ebullient wines from Sam Neills Two Paddocks Vineyard, the sumptuous Rangitoto espresso blend from Allpress coffee, and the award winning range of Tuatara beers made by the blokes just up the road. Throw into the mix New Zealand's iconic icecream from Fredrick Charles Rush Munro, and making life delicious we have an assortment of delights from our local Ambrosia Patisserie. For those of you who enjoy a more technical spin, our cinema features two state of the art auditoriums, equipped with 35mm and electronic projection. Both theatres are fully air-conditioned and feature 7.1 Dolby surround sound. They are also equipped with the latest hearing-impaired technologies. Established in 2008 the Waikanae Dance School is a community focused organisation with a vision to provide performance opportunities for young people in the Kapiti region. Our aim is to provide a fun and friendly dance environment that nurtures the individual talents of each of our students. We seek to develop confident young people with outstanding performing art skills. Our students attend classes weekly developing technique in a range of styles to produce all round dancers. Our classes are taught by the Principal of the school to ensure correct technique and class discipline is taught to all students whatever their age. Whether you wish to train to become a professional dancer, a dance teacher or just have fun with your friends we will ensure that all students dance to their full potential. We offer students the opportunity to take part in school shows, perform at community events, compete at local and national festivals and work towards internationally recognised dance qualifications.

Hello rodent lovers, we are located in Waikanae in the Kapiti coast region. We started this rattery around 3/05/2013. We enjoy playing and teaching our rats new things everyday, they are very wonderful and underestimated creatures. Our intention with our rattery is to produce a nurturing environment to our little pocket pets so they feel comfortable and happy where they live and with human contact. We would like to adopt them out to a good and reasonable family/owner. We also sell different rat items like hammocks, beds and food so your rats can have the provided items that they need and can..just have! We do not consider our ratties to be commodity items, we are a little bit pricey but only because we are investing valuable human contact time with our babies to provide loving and well adjusted pets. We provide good meals and toys for our rats that we need to adopt out. We also take donations, so please don’t hesitate to email the owners about that. We hope you have a great and exciting experience with the rats we provide you with!

Then the secret garden calls for the fairies to find their own secret wish box hidden amongst the flowers, and make a wish in the wishing well, following that they can enjoy the tasty treats that await them, photos taken throughout their party magical times to be had.......
