Tauranga Boys' College is a state secondary school for boys, located on the edge of the downtown area of Tauranga, New Zealand. The school was founded in 1958. The school prides itself on its successful involvement in academia, sport and the arts.
To empower and encourage participation in creativity, be that as an artist or as an audience. We have a community gallery space for exhibitions, funding and mentoring expertise, publish CreativeBeat magazine, manage The Cargo Shed arts and craftart venue, discounted advertising opportunities with local media, connecting artists with likeminded people or appropriate resources, etc, etc.
We are a medium sized registered charity and growing. We provide over 3500 equestrian therapy sessions in a year. We have around 80 volunteers and are always keen to recruit more. We have seven part time staff.
We are funded by Trusts and Foundations, sponsorship packages, individual benefactors, corporates and we generate some funds through our own income streams. We are keen always keen to develop partnerships with companies and indIviduals.
We have 12 horses some of which are available for sponsorship.
