Pawz for Thought

Pawz for Thought

274a Harrisville Road, Pukekohe East ,
We are a small one on one dog grooming business specialising in small breeds, but happy to do bathing/drying/clipping of large breeds by arrangement. I am an NZKC breeder of Lowchens and have been for over 18yrs now. I have been involved in the dog show world since I was old enough to walk, so have shown and encountered many breeds of dogs over the years. I have over 15 years grooming experience having run my own salon for a number of years in Auckland before moving to the rural area of Pukekohe/Tuakau. I am happy to provide a full range of grooming for most breeds, from the simplest of nail clipping to a full on hair cut. Bathing, drying, clipping, natural flea treatments and pedicures. We are open Monday - Thursday. I can sometimes do other days/weekends, just ask me.

Hello my name is Dylan Ralph. I've been wanting to put together a racing syndicate for awhile. This will be a fun and great way to spend a day at the races with family and friends while cheering on your own horse. I am currently looking at Yearlings at the Karaka sales with my father Stephen Ralph who will be breaking in and training the "Filly" we select. We most likely won't have enough money to buy a yearling right out. The plan is to lease a filly with a "Right of Purchase", so if we win enough prize money we will be able to buy her. We will be selecting a nicely well balanced 2 year old type Filly. We will be aiming for the first couple of 2 year old races starting in September, and all going well to get into Listed and/or Group Races. Generally there are only a small number of 2yr olds at the beginning of the season so hence the reason why we want to get a filly that looks forward and can cope with early racing. We are offering 10% shares per unit. Each share will cost an initial amount of $1,100 + GST ( or 6 monthly payments of $183.50 + GST ) , this will take you up until the beginning of the racing season. From the 1 August 2013 it will be $200 per month while in training or $80 per month while spelling (break). The cost break down : $ 1,500 - Breaking in. $ 6,000 - x3 month of training. $ 920 - Insurance Pearl racing filly Series. $ 2,365 - x3 spelling fee. $ 215 - New covers. Total : $11,000 - $1,100 per 10% unit. If we get enough keen and interested people we have option to get two instead of one. Feel free to give me a Private Message or Call me (Dylan) on 021-02269513 if you have any questions. Thanks from the team Dylan Ralph, Stephen Ralph and Melanie Sutton.
